International Ballet Company Messapica
Teacher and choreographer, young and ambitious. He has managed to transform international influences and stimuli into his own constantly evolving personal style. From the need to express his artistic language, in 2013 he creates Ocram Dance Movement, a company and choreographic experimentation project based in Catania.
Since 2016, the company has been invited to various festivals and theaters in Italy (MarteLive, Miniatures, Vuoti d’aria, Coreografica…mente), Germany (Festival The Wall Series Vol.2), USA (Festival IDACO), Argentina (Festival Sumar), Hungary (Festival SzólóDuó), Portugal (Quinzena de Dança de Almada), Slovenia (Ljubljana Dance Meeting), Turkey (Istanbul Fringe Festival), Greece (Pocket Dance Festival).
Since 2013, he has started an artistic collaboration with the John Cranko Schule, a state school in Stuttgart, directed by Tadeusz Matacz, for which he has created several original choreographies that have been immediately appreciated by the German press: “In partenza” (2013), “Into your arms” and “Spirits of nature” (2015), “Touch me” (2016), and “Clap your hands to the sky” (2017), Blanc (2018). In 2015, he created “Song for Viola” for the dancer Giuliana Bottino (Staats Ballet Berlin). In 2017, he was invited to the Wicked Weekend COMMA for the Choreography master held at CODARTS (Rotterdam). In 2018, he was a guest choreographer for the KAOS Balletto di Firenze company. In 2019, he won the award for best choreographer at the Certamen Coreografico distrito de Tetuan festival (Madrid). In 2019, he was invited to the Conservatório Internacional de Ballet e Dança Annarella Sanchez (Leiria, Portugal). In 2019, he created “Caino e Abele” for the dancers Petar Dorcevski (director and principal dancer of the Opera di Ljubljana) and Filip Jurič (soloist of the Opera in Balet SNG Maribor) guests at the XXIV international ballet festival in Miami.
He is a guest at numerous artistic training centers in Italy and abroad as a teacher and choreographer.
