International Ballet Company Messapica

The International Ballet Company Messapica, a project of the Bell Art Academy Cultural Association in collaboration with Naturalmente Tenuta nel Mezzo, is an international dance company based in Puglia, aiming to provide viable opportunities for young talents within Italy and abroad

International Ballet Company Messapica represents a perfect fusion of two different forms of art: dance and enogastronomy. Our trainee program is based in the beautiful city of Mesagne, Brindisi.

Thanks to the hospitality of the Teatro Comunale di Mesagne, we are able to present several performances every year, from October to July. We understand how important it is for dancers to have the opportunity to showcase their talent and gain visibility in the industry. Throughout our seasons, we provide a professional environment where dancers can express themselves and demonstrate their unique abilities to the best of their potential. Our main goal is to create job opportunities and provide young dancers with the chance to grow through an intensive program of classical and contemporary dance performances in Italy and abroad. We are here to fuel the passion for dance and shape the future of emerging talents in the world of dance.

Starting from October 1st, 2024, the company has initiated collaborations with dance companies from around the world, as well as with local foundations and theaters. Thanks to the renowned esteem and popularity of Maestro Bartes and his wife, Maestra Tatiana Anton, there will be opportunities to host internationally acclaimed dancers. Through these cultural exchanges, International Ballet Company Messapica will serve as a showcase, offering greater job opportunities and visibility for the most deserving talents who may find employment in the most prestigious companies worldwide.

This intercultural exchange will promote the culture of dance, theater, ballet, and music, fostering high-quality art while promoting tourism, culture, traditions, and flavors of the Mesagne territory.

THANKS TO ”Naturalmente – Tenuta nel Mezzo ” INVOLVEMENT AS AN IMPORTANT COLLABORATOR FOR THE SUCCESS OF THIS NEW VISION PROJECT !

The proposed performances will encompass the most important titles from the ballet repertoire of the 19th and 20th centuries and will ensure shows throughout the theater season from October to June, with 2/3 performances per month, with the possibility of offering a free show for third-sector associations, schools, and charity events.

Furthermore, with a specific request, International Ballet Company Messapica has proposed a collaboration with the State Classical Lyceum “Epifanio Ferdinando” in Mesagne, offering the opportunity to work with the most deserving students. International Ballet Company Messapica will provide the opportunity for the most deserving students of the school to participate in some performances as interns, accumulating hours for their PCTO (Curricular Plan for Work-Related Learning).
